Ahhhhh…. New York… My new love.
Seriously though, New York was amazing in all aspects. The food was fantastic, the views were amazing, riding the subway was the coolest. I would move there if my significant other was on board. He’s not though so I guess I will have to stick with visiting a billion more times.
If I could give any pointers or recommendations, it would be these.
Central Park is literally the best. It was my favorite part of New York. It was beautiful, breezy, laid back and the views from it were fantastic.
Two Words: Shake Shack. Go there and be amazed. It is a little pricey for burgers and fries but holy cow it is delicious. I had a burger, fries, and a strawberry shake and enjoyed it all while sitting outside of the Museum of Natural History.
So, Time’s Square was very cool and very big and beautiful. It can also be a little overwhelming. I recommend going there later in the day when some of the crowds have moved on for dinner. There is live music most weekends and to see the billboards in person instead of on TV was definitely a cool experience.
If you’re in the mood to cry, go see the 9/11 Memorial. Even if you are not in the mood to cry, go see it. It was incredible, breathtaking and emotional.
Please go to New York. It is a billion times better than Chicago in my humble opinion. If you guys have been there, leave your recommendations so I can go there the next time!
Always Love Ya’ll.
